From Wednesday through Friday, a lane between mile markers 144 and 147 on I-75 North will be closed, a Georgia Department of Transportation news release says.

The lane will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Road Maintenance to Close Two I-75 Lanes

Two lanes are scheduled for closure along I-75 northbound during road maintenance, a Georgia Department Transportation news release says.

That closure is slated for 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. from Monday, May 21 through Friday, May 25. That's from mile marker 143 to mile marker 147.

Two I-75 North lanes will be closed May 14-18 on a nightly basis for road work, a Georgia Department of Transportation news release says.

The two lanes will be closed from 8:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. between mile markers 142 and 145.

Mowing Scheduled Along State Route 96

Plan to reduce your speed along State Route 96 Thursday and Friday this week.

A Georgia Department of Transportation news release says there will be mowing along SR 96 between Fountain St. and Smyrna Church Rd. in Peach County.

The work is slated for 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Air Show Features Blue Angels

Air Show Features Blue Angels

ROBINS, AFB., GA.--The Air Show lineup features performers including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, F-18 Hornets, the C-130 Hercules, and the Air Force F-22 Raptor.

The air show is free and open to the public and starts at 11:30 a.m.

You can park at the Macon Airport, McConnell-Talbert Stadium and Anchor Glass and then catch bus transportation to the show. The shuttle starts at 9:45 a.m. both days and gates open at 10 a.m.

The shuttle runs until 5 p.m.

Where to Park for the Robins Air Show

The Robins Air Show promises families plenty to see in the sky above this weekend.

Before heading out, check out where to park.

A few things to note about air show parking:

  • The Parking Plan notes that the general public will not be allowed to park on base.
  • There will be three parking lots where the general public can park and catch the shuttle.
  • Four parking lots will be available to Base ID holders. (Click the link above to see which lots will be available.)

Be ready to slow down along State Route 11 and the State Route 247 Connector in Peach County. Mowing is scheduled along the road on Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily.

That's according to a Georgia Department of Transportation news release.

That's April 26 and April 27.
