Crawford Co. School Named Among High Progress Title I Schools | Schools

Fourteen Central Georgia schools have been named among the Highest Performing and High Progress Title I schools in the state.
Schools on the list have the "biggest academic gains by students in the last three years." Schools with large achievement gaps were not included, according to a Georgia Department of Education news release.
"Highest Performing" means that the the school is among the top five percent of Title I schools in in the State in student tests over a three-year period.
"High Progress" means that the school is among the top 10 percent of Title I schools in Georgia in improving student assessments over a three-year period.
The following Central Georgia Schools made the "Highest Performing" list:
Bibb County:

Bleckley County:
--Bleckley County Elementary School
Houston County:
--Shirley Hills Elementary School
Laurens County:
--Northwest Laurens Elementary School
These schools made the "High-Progress" list:
