Fort Valley Hosts Fall Commencement | News
Fort Valley State University held its Fall Commencement Ceremony Saturday.
More than 300 students received their undergraduate and graduate degrees in over forty fields of study.
State Representative Patty James-Bentley was the keynote speaker. She encouraged the graduates to remember those who helped them along their paths to success.
Fort Valley State is the only university that was established by an 1890 land grant in Georgia.
