Hambone Jam Wraps Up in Fort Valley | News

The Hambone Jam wrapped up its annual two day event Saturday, with announcing its grand prize winner for best all around barbecue. 

Out of 38 teams competing for the title, Sta-C Hale was crowned the best in the state along with best all around at this year's event.

She won $3,000 along with a trip to Vegas too compete in the world food championship. 

Hale says she's ready to start preparing to keep her winning streak going. She says she plans to meet with some better teams that have won before, take a few classes, and do "a lot of praying."
