Circus promotes reading at Byron daycare | News
An "ambassador of laughter" from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Jamarr "J-Man" Woodruff, visited the Stepping Stone Learning Center in Byron.
He told a story to some toddlers before doing some juggling and tricks for them.
The clown was there to promote the "Super Circus Heroes" show from Jan 30th through February second.
He also talked about the "Reading with Ringling Brothers " initiative, where children who read a certain amount of books in the library can receive a free ticket to the circus.
Woodruff said, "The job description of a clown is simple: Make people happy! And I get to do that everyday, around the country, place after place, smile after smile."

The circus comes to the Macon Centreplex Jan. 31-Feb. 2.
