Four-Man Golf Scramble to Benefit Crawford Co. Touchdown Club

Crawford County High Touchdown Club hosts a Golf Tournament Friday, June 21 at Forsyth Golf Club.

It'll be 4-man scramble.

Cost is $200/team.

 Prizes for 1st, 2nd and last place as well as closest to the pin and longest drive.

Baseball Royals Sweep Season Series From Crawford County

BCHS had a six run second inning and five run fifth en route to a 16-6 win at Crawford County Tuesday.  The Royals had 11 hits and took advantage of four Eagle errors. 

Bryant Trice went 2 for 3 with a double and 5 RBI.  Frankie Lee Mullis was 2 for 3 with four RBI. Tavon Ross was also 2 for 3.

Bleckley hosts Hawkinsville Thursday.  JV play at 4 p.m. with varsity to follow.

BCHS Sweeps Season Series From Crawford County

The Lady Royals led 25-13 at halftime of Friday's game at Crawford County.  Alexis Woodfaulk and Tia Troup both had three-point shots as part of a 13-0 run.  Bleckley would go on to win 62-36.  Troup scored 17.  Dewanda Blackshear added 11.

After exploding for a season-best 34 first quarter points, the Royal offense slowed somewhat in the second.  Crawford County was within 49-33 by halftime.  BCHS scored the first eight points of the third.  All but one of the starters left by the fourth in an 88-61 win.  It was the second most points ever scored by Bleckley under current head coach Cliff Kerbo.  They scored 90 when the teams met in Cochran.

Mario Beck scored 14 of his 23 points in the first quarter.  Rydealous Taylor had 19.  Ken Hughes added 14.  JV boys tip at 4:15 when BC hosts Macon County Saturday.

Big Wins for Both Teams as Bleckley Sweeps Crawford County

Cam Tillman scored five of her team high 19 points in the second quarter as the Lady Royals opened a 20-point lead over Crawford County at home Friday.  Bleckley used a 29-point third quarter to blow the game open en route to a 70-13 win.  N'yasia Anderson chipped in with 10 points.  The 70 points was a season high.

Rydealous Taylor had 13 first quarter points and finished with 35, a career high.  The Royals scored 26 fourth quarter points en route to a 90-54 win.  The 90 points is the most ever scored under current head coach Cliff Kerbo.

Mario Beck had 18.  Derrick Farrow chipped in with a season high 12.  BCHS plays at Dublin High School Saturday.  JV play at 3 p.m. with varsity to follow.
