Good Life Organizing: Visual Clutter and Shopping

Good Life Organizing: Visual Clutter and Shopping

Recently I took my daughter to one of our favorite department stores for a little summer clothes shopping. While she browsed in the juniors department, I made my way to the ladies section. What I saw stopped me in my tracks - shelf after shelf of clothes strewn about and in a big jumbled mess. Not a pretty sight. It was worse than I have seen after a Black Friday sale.

Spring Fling Wrapup #4

Spring has sprung and it’s a wonderful time to get rid of clutter and start fresh. Join me for the entire month of April for a Spring Fling. Every day we will be sorting, discarding and flinging items and ideas from a wide variety of areas of our home and lives.  You can pick and choose which flings you would like do. You can do them every day or do them at your own pace. It’s all up to you!

And remember good and done is better than perfect and postponed!  So let’s start flinging!

Pollen Count 'High' in the Macon Area

Pollen Count 'High' in the Macon Area

Some mixed news for allergy sufferers:

While the tree pollen count is still high at 1420, that's down from last Wednesday's 3,600 count, according to Dr. Plaxico's Allergy and Asthma Clinic in Macon.

Weeds and grass pollen count is now in the moderate range. That count is up from last week when the weed pollen was absent and the grass count was observed as low.

Get Organized: Make a List

Get Organized: Make a List

Every since I was a little girl I have been in love with writing lists. My mother and grandmother were great list makers with columns of words sprinkled around the piece of paper. Today I still love a handwritten list as my ever present notebook of list proves.

However, my list writing days may be soon be over. Now there is a great online resource for printable lists of every kind imaginable - ListPlanIt.com. The categories of lists available on ListPlanIt.com range from family matters to financial planning to time management to fun.
