Country star Kellie Pickler is set to perform at the Georgia National Fair in October, according to the Georgia National Fair's Facebook page.

She co-headlines October 6 with Joe Nichols.

Tickets go on sale on August 25 at 9 a.m. You can purchase tickets online.

Nightmare on Byron's Main Street Features Trick-or-Treating

Warning, be on the lookout for ghouls, goblins, ghosts and more on Wednesday, October 31st because that is when NIGHTMARE on MAIN STREET takes place!

The Byron Rotary Club will be having a costume contest in the gazebo at Jailhouse Park at 5:30 and trick or treating on Main Street takes place from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

If your business or organization would like to hand out candy please contact Tiffany at 956-5555 to reserve a space on Main Street.

There is no fee and is a great way to let the community know youare here. Have fun with it….dress up and be creative! If you want tosee what nearly 5,000 folks in Halloween attire looks like then headout to Night Mare on Main Street!

Peach County High 1982 Reunion Set for October

The Peach County High School Class of 1982 has their 30th Class Reunion during the weekend of PCHS homecoming. October 19th is the tailgating and game.

Saturday is the banquet at the American Legion on HWY 49 in Fort Valley.

The cost is $40.00 for singles and $75.00 for couples. Make checks payable to PCHS Class of 1982 Reunion, P. O. Box 46, Fort Valley, GA.
