It's the week before Halloween and you're probably putting the final touches on Halloween costumes for the little ones and maybe even yourself.

This year Fort Valley celebrates a Fall Festival on Tuesday, October 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the Fort Valley Festival Park. Merchants will set up with games and hand out candy.

You'll be able to enter your costume in the contest, as well as enjoy inflatables, a mini-train ride and a hay ride.

The City of Fort Valley hasn't proclaimed specific times to trick or treat.

 

Kicking off last Thursday afternoon, The Georgia National Fair returns with the coveted fall favorites: funnel cakes, pig races, concerts and of course the midway with rides galore. What is your favorite part so far? Share with us! Send photos to photos@13wmaz.com

Mark your calendars and be sure to get your tastebuds ready for the Battle of Byron Chili Fest onSaturday, October 27nd from 2p until @ JailhousePark in Downtown Byron. It only costs $5 to be achili judge. There will be arts and crafts, food vendors,carnival like games for the kids, BoB IdolKaraoke, entertainment on stage and FUN for all!!Be sure to come on out for a great time.
