Crawford County Storm Alert System Ready for Winter | Environment

If winter storms come to Crawford County, residents will know early.

Crawford County EMA upgraded their weather alert system for possible winter storm warnings, according to a Crawford County Emergency Management Agency news release.

The system, known as CodeRED, sends warnings through text and email after an alert is issued by the National Weather Service.

You have to opt in to receive the alerts. To make sure you receive the storm warning alerts to your phone, head over to crawfordcountyga.org

Enter your email address and cell phone number. 

You'll have the option to receive warnings for severe thunderstorms, flash floods and/or tornado warnings.
