DeKalb County's District Attorney Headlines Davison Lecture Series

DeKalb County's District Attorney Headlines Davison Lecture Series

The next John W. Davison Lecture Series will feature a legal eagle featured on Georgia Trend magazine’s “40 Under 40 list” of the state’s rising stars. The Middle Georgia community is invited to spend an evening with Robert D. James Jr., the DeKalb County district attorney, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 20 in the C.W. Pettigrew Center.

James is a well-respected legal professional. In 2011, Georgia’s Governor Nathan Deal appointed the seasoned attorney to the state’s Judicial Nominating Committee. This 20-member board provides recommendations for vacant state trial and appellate courts. The district attorney was also the recipient of an “On The Rise” award by The Daily Report. He was named to The National Law Journal’s “40 Under 40” minority lawyer list, and to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Who’s Who in Law and Accounting.”
