Byron Lions Club Gears Up for Annual “Ride for Sight” Horse Show

The Byron Lions Club sponsors many events throughout the year and these events help raise money and awareness for hearing and sight projects/research.

In addition, they also provide hearing and eye exams for those in the local area in need, and support worthy organizations such as the Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic, the Boy Scouts, and American Cancer Society.

The annual “Ride for Sight” Horse Show was a success last year, and this year's Ride for Sight is shaping up to be just as successful.

The Ride For Sight Show will take place April 8-10 at the Southeastern Arena in Unadilla.

The 2011 officers are Lee Brown-President, Gaylene Geyman-Vice President, Fran Washko-Treasurer and Marlene Humphry-Secretary.
